Happy Holidays from Ponyville, part 2!

(But where's Snoopy?)

(I posted a first "Winter Holiday" strip yesterday too; here's a link)

*As always, comments greatly appreciated and desired. I shall place them under my e-Tree!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, FAT DASH!!

LMAO. Best holiday tree EVER. It just needs a little love.

(And nicely done on the Charlie Brown-style singing pose. That's not an easy facial angle to tackle.)

GOOD GRIEF.

If you think REAL hard and see the neckline as a mouth and the mouth as a single eye, they look like VERY cute, very weird one eyed monsters. Like the guy from Monsters Inc.

In other news, this is adorable! I loved your two holiday themed comics, Spoosh! As well as all of them. I don't comment much but I adore 'em. Keep it up and a merry holidaymas!

I can kind of see it!

I am happy you're enjoying the strips, Sel. :) Thanks for saying so!

That tree is even better than the neon palm tree that we decorated in my dorm suite.

Except I'm guessing a neon palm tree (plastic?) would hold a candle to Dash and Minty's "tree." Literally.

Yay! Merry Christmas to you, too.

*squints*

Is Dash actually starting to lose weight?

It may be an optical illusion, that thinner Dash. Dash has reached the conclusion that he has to get on board with Jack's program, but we haven't seen the hyginx that will invariable ensure. ;)

There is a old tradition of potted plants at Christmas. Poinsettas spring to mind. ;)

"Great poses on these. ^_^"

Thanks! But I'm just mimicking something bigger and better.

Aww, so cute... My grandfather was one of the principle animators on that movie, and it always pleases me when people like/reference it. : )

Merry Christmas to you, Spoosh, and the Ponyville gang! ; )

Wow, really! That's quite cool. I was thinking as I watched the special this year - I hadn't seen it in many years - how extraordinary an animated TV special must have been at that time.

*nods* He did a lot of Snoopy. : ) And on many other Peanuts cartoons, too.

Hmm... Well, I don't think an animated special was particularly extraordinary. There was a lot of animation around. What WAS extraordinary was actually how simple it was, and the sentimental religious undertones. Christmas was almost as commercial then as it is now... Evidently the station didn't originally want to air it because it was so mild, and rather sweet, and had Linus reciting from the Bible.

There are so many reasons to love this simple panel, so many things I should say, but I'm just so overcome with the awesomeness all I can say is: I love you for this. Merry Christmas.

I love their "oooh" mouths, and the sickly looking plant with one ornament on it. Excellent! LOL. I also like how chubby Dash looks.

It looks a little harvested, doesn't it? It didn't seem very Charlie-Brown-esque to have this giant, sprawling best of a plant. I'm letting people draw their own conclusions about where the rest has gone. ;)
