50th comic! ::bull horn::

For this strip, try to remember back to the last part of the slowest storyline ever. (click here to read it). Cotton Candy is trying to open her Cafe, but she needs someone to cut the ribbon at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Ki'ono offered to help, but not without first jerking CC around, which brings us to here:

"I'm here to cut your ribbon." And suddenly, the concept of ribbon cutting takes on an entirely new, innuendo-based meaning, possibly one that causes a rash. And Amberlocks smells of fish (and probably liquor, and quite possibly fish liquor)! XD

Very nice, dynamic body language in the last panel. Look out, Ki'ono!

::grins:: It's cool you picked up on that, because I tried to phrase it as suggestively as possible. Of course, Amberlocks could probably read a street sign and still sound suggestive.

I like the expressions in the last panel. I think they're exactly right. And Ki'ono's pose reminds me of your sketch pony that's subtle AND elegant.

I like knowing Paris is still around. I am not sure if he's a girl or a boy (although I just used the masculine pronoun, so probably a boy, since it's funnier with the name).

You have some kickass line quality, too---how do you create this artwork? If you could do this on paper, you might be a good animation inker.

Thank you, DL! :D I'm constantly working to improve the inking. I do it all on paper, except for the coloring, but I do manipulate the size and such to make it look cleaner on the screen.

ROFL! Oh this one is inspired.
The new look for Paris? Love it--much more doggy-like. (Less owly-like...not that I have a problem with Owly!) XD
The smelling of fish? Hilarious. (And it can have so many meanings really.) lol
The expressions? Woot.
Ki'ono sans glasses? Double woot.
The whole frickin' last panel? Triple, nay, quadruple woot!!

I also realized this is the first time we've ever seen Amberlock's tail--omg! Good choice on portraying that btw. It looks properly frizzy and broken off/thinned out at the bottom. (Probably from all that crimping. ^_~)

I do have a question though...or rather an observation I guess: the dark pink wrinkle lines on Cotton Candy in the 3rd panel threw me off a bit. I sat there staring at them like, "Huh?" I think it's the wrinkles under the eyes/on the cheeks that bother me. I don't think they make sense there--the cheeks are rounded out in that expression and any squinty-ness is implied already with the lines defining the bottoms of the eyes. I like the extra definition above her eye though.

The Ki'ono in the last panel is definitely my favorite Ki'ono ever! ^____^ Awesome. As always you do an excellent job with little details. Like Ki'ono's teeth-line in that panel--I realize that horses don't have pointy "canines" but for what ever reason, I adore that line for this expression. It just...works. <3 <3 <3
Other details of note: the smoke from Amberlock's cig (I'll bet she's not supposed to be smoking in the Cafe, lol) and that gorgeous bow on the ribbon outside.

Also, Cotton Candy looks like she could play a mean game of twister!
(Gah...I can't stop myself.... I'll never think of "cutting the ribbon" the same way again! Oh, it burns! roflolomgwtfbbq!) XDD

CC is in a GREAT pose for the last panel.
I almost wish Amberlocks had a top on. You can almost imagine one strap falling carelessly to the side. Haha. If you ever wanted to push the smell thing further, you could have flowers wilting as she goes past.
BTW, I enjoy the fact that CC and Amberlocks are different pinks.

I absolutely LOVE the last panel, esp. Cotton Candy. She must've been moving pretty dang fast as her necklace hasn't swung back! (At first I thought she pulled a gun on Ki'ono, then I realized they were his sunglasses. >.< )
