(This strip references the new "Breezies" set of ponies in the MLP toy line. Here's a pic via the Toys R Us website, if you haven't seen them yet).

*ahem* I love the first panel. Good to see you experimenting with the panel layout. Blissed-out Wysteria is so pretty. The Breezie is incredibly cute: look at that grin! How can you possibly resist?!

Are the Breezies gonna be like wasps? Apparently when you squish a wasp it releases a smell that tells other wasps, "Danger here! Attack, attack! Sting 'em to death!" *pictures Ponyville being swarmed with mad Breezies* Heheh

So sweet. So pastorial. So funny!

Love the stand alone comics as much as those with story arcs and it's nice to see you continue to push your talents. :) Thank you for sharing them with us.

You make the Breezies look way cuter than they actually are, lol.
I like what you were doing with the joke, though I might have liked to see Wysteria doing the actual squishing. Perhaps she should have just freaked out and nailed the thing, thus negating everything she'd just said. :D

Hehehe... Wysteria reminds me a tad of my roommate being the nature lover and all.
And *gasp* what are Jack and Wysteria doing together out in the mountains!?Poor Dash...

I love the expressions in the second and third panels. Especially the third one. :D The only thing that would have made this strip better would have been a shot of Wysteria's horror at seeing Jack smush a Breezie. *weg*

Breezie!! I was wondering when the swarm would hit Ponyville. :D

The different layout works very well (very nice job getting the feel of a landscape to fit into a vertical panel, btw!). Great perspective in panel 3, too. I adore your take on the Breezies.

I'm guessing Breezie squishing isn't exactly an ideal way to get on Wysteria's good side. Is Jack mackin' on Wystie?

I agree w/ [info]hylianjean that the joke also would've worked if you'd had Wysteria reflexively squash the Breezie after being startled by it. Either way, it'd be funny -- it'd depend on how dedicated Wysteria really is to practicing what she preaches. ;)

LOL!!! *dies* Oh my god, I love that. Especially now that I've seen the Breezies in person. I thought I would love them, 'cause... hello, little pixie ponies. I thought they'd be like the Flutters or the Wingers. But... I think they're ugly! They're so skinny and tiny and the proportions are all weird and urgh.

No offense to anyone who reads this and likes them.

I love how you drew the face on the Breezie, with that vapid, empty grin. Very nice. :)

*ahem* Okay, that's out of my system now. I love the bugs. They're such little freaks! This one is awesome, Spoosh. I love the look on its face there in the third panel. Big cheesy grin and all. It reminds me of that one Simpsons episode...

"I bring you love!"
"It's bringing love! KILL IT!"

And this is neither here nor there, but the flowers remind me of this book I had when I was a kid. It was a scratch n sniff book, something about the Smurfs. They made candied violets, and your flowers remind me of the violets. It's a happy memory. ^^
