I like the Jewel ponies. For obvious reasons, they remind me of the Twinkle Eyed ponies, one of my favorite sets. Standing alone she's fairly nice, but comparitively Gem Blossom kind of disappoints me. If you stand her next to, say Tic-Tac-Toe, she seems faded and boring. So to counteract that, Gem Blossom, who likely won't appear in the Ponyville story because there's no place and no room, is a bit wild. She's the obnoxious girl off to the side who says things to get a rise out of others. She prides herself on "telling it like it is," but is really just making things up as she goes. She also likes to primp, and makes judgements on others based on how they style themselves.
