Once I found Desert Rose, I understood why she had been sold out in every store I'd found the other 3 Sparkle ponies previously. She's just really, really beautiful. So much so that I feel the need to shoe-horn her into the Ponyville story. Where she might go, I have no idea. A pony of great good? A pony of great, deceiving evil? Eh, that's getting a little too far from comedy comics. Ponyville needs no *real* evil. She might push Serendipity off to the side and take the roll of Ki'ono's little sister, mob princess. Maybe she can just be ALL of the characters. "Um, you've all been fired. Here's your replacement."

She reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, for obvious reasons. What a smart move, making her eyes green. That's the difference. Although the sparklies on her head remind me of frosted pop tarts. But what doesn't?
At first I thought, she'll definately run with the young crowd, but maybe she should be a matronly figure. An older, or oldest, member of the cast... SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP! SHE COULD BE PINKIE PIE'S MOTHER! Let me repeat that: THE MAYOR'S MOTHER!!
