OMG! The signs in the back are awesome! My in-laws run a liquor store, so the Fish Liquor and Lotto signs cracked me up the most. The fine print on the wanted poster is good, too. ^_^

The inevitable day has finally arrived. Poor Minty. At least his hair looks good.

It's amazing how many details of the storyline you can weave into one panel! ^_^ (Roo definitely jacked up the price of fish liquor -- I wouldn't buy it for more than $1 a crate.)

Hehe, poor Minty, the only place that would hire him was Roo's. Good thing his name tag says Trainee, because I wouldn't want anyone knowing my name if I had to work for Roo. (And he does look much older than before...good job)

Love the background signage, lol!!! If only Gummy Mayors were real...I lurv gummy fruit snacks! (I wonder what Sweetberry would do to them if she bought Gummy Mayors?)

LOL!!! I love it. :D Minty's got a broom of his own too! Hee! He looks so bewildered, with the little 'Trainee' badge pinned to him... And 'Roo just gets crustier by the day, doesn't he? *g*

And I love the background details, like the 'Wanted' poster (obviously Cotton Candy hasn't seen that yet! *g*) and the bag Gummy Mayors...

Roo would, no doubt, try to price them though. The Fish Liquor is already on sale, afterall.

But I know what you meant. ;) And thank you. :D I figured, even though this week's joke lent itself best to a one-panel strip, I still should fill out the background in greater detail to compensate for fewer overall visuals.

Awww..... he had to succumb to the inevitable. Poor Mint. A stash of Gummy Mayors in a Wife Mug would sure make for a nice Christmas gift. ^_^ That Kimono poster is begging for someone to draw a mustache on it.

How did anyone convince Roo to put that poster up? Anyone coming in would get decked with a broom.

The badge reminds me sooooooo much of being 17 years old and working at a local tourist attraction. Some maniacally idiotic tourist would always say, "Har har! Good ta meet ya, Trainee! What's that short fer?" Like I hadn't heard it a million times...

I about died when I saw the "Gummy Mayors"... and Fish Liquor! OMG Fish Liquor!! Buck fifty a crate! Reward of personal satisfaction!! *cries*
Poor Minty. He even gets his own broom. <3

Also, the nametag! They do that at TARGET, they give newbies namebadges that say "New Team Member" on them... if it's not going to provide useful information, why have it?! So not only is "TRAINEE" funny, it's true to life. *headdesk*

Have you ever had Fish Liquor? I hope not, because I think I just made it up, but moreover, how vile does that sound?

Do you think Roo would be a good fit at the managorial level at Target? If not for qualifications, than at least for the sake of consitancy? :P

My first thought was that Razzaroo sounds very much like Wallace Shawn, in my head, saying to Andre the Giant: "The minute his HEAD is in view, HIT IT WITH THE ROCK!"

'Gummy CRAP'?! That's only slightly more disturbing than 'Gummy Mayors,' actually, and slightly less disturbing than 'Fish Liquor.' Urgh! How does Razzaroo stay in business with his approach to customers and his stock? Mob ties? ;-)

Kind of makes me wonder what the bag behind Minty reads.
